Don King (defensive back)
Don Erwin King Jr. (born February 10, 1964) is a former American football defensive back who played in the National Football League (NFL). Early lifeKing Jr. was born on February 10, 1964, in Dallas, Texas, to Don King Sr. and Judy King.[citation needed] He attended and played quarterback at Justin F. Kimball High School in Dallas, Texas.[citation needed] College careerKing was a four-year letterman at Southern Methodist University and a two-year starter, where he earned All-Southwest Conference[1] and Honorable Mention All-American Honors as a quarterback.[citation needed] Professional careerKing went undrafted in the 1986 NFL draft, but later signed with the Kansas City Chiefs in 1986.[citation needed] He then signed with the Green Bay Packers during the 1987 NFL season, where he played in one game against the Detroit Lions.[2][3] See alsoReferences
