"Me Too" is a song co-written and recorded by American country music singer Toby Keith. It was released on November 18, 1996 as the third and final single from his album Blue Moon. The song reached the top of the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. Keith wrote the song with Chuck Cannon. ContentThe song is a romantic ballad from the perspective of a man who regularly struggles with saying the phrase "I love you" to his significant other, and instead performs physical tasks as a way of showing his affection to her. The only easy way for him to utter that phrase is by simply telling her "me too" after she says "I love you" to him first, hoping she will understand that means he is in agreement with what she just told him.
