NGC 3336
NGC 3336 is a barred spiral galaxy[2][3] located about 190 million light-years away[4] in the constellation Hydra.[2] It was discovered by astronomer John Herschel on March 24, 1835.[5][3] NGC 3336 is a member of the Hydra Cluster.[6] One supernova has been observed in NGC 3336: SN 1984S (type unknown, mag. 16.8) was discovered by Paul Wild on 23 December 1984.[7][8] See alsoReferences
