Tamara Witmer
Tamara Witmer, born March 21 1984,[1] is an American model, actress and reality television star. She is best known for her appearance as Playboy's Playmate of the Month as Miss August 2005 and as the cover girl for the October 2006 issue of Playboy magazine. She is also well known for appearing on VH1's hit celebreality show, Rock of Love with Bret Michaels season 1. Modeling careerPrior to becoming a Playboy Playmate, Witmer would appear on multiple magazine covers, such as; Muscle and Fitness, FHM and Glamour. She would also appear inside the issues of Maxim, Stuff, Vanity Fair and Sports Illustrated. She would also appear in multiple commercials, calendars and feature in different lingerie and swimwear catalogs. Witmer would appear in the February 2005 Lingerie Bowl, during the half-time of the Super Bowl XXXIX, as a tackle football player, for the Los Angeles Temptation. Witmer would pose for Playboy and become Playboy's Playmate of the Month in August of 2005. In 2006, she would then go on to be the cover girl of the October issue of Playboy magazine. Also in 2006 she would also feature in the official Playboy Playmate 2007 Video Calendar as Miss May. In 2010 Witmer would be the cover girl for the March, digital issue, of Fast Lane magazine.[2] Television careerIn 2006, Witmer would appear on "Deal or No Deal" as a briefcase model, she would also make her film debut in Syfy's "Supergator". In 2008 she would play a prostitute in the film "Taken", in 2009 she would play a salsa dancer in the film "The Ugly Truth". In 2007, Witmer was a contestant on the first season of VH1's hit reality dating show "Rock of Love with Bret Michaels".[3] During the episode she would proclaim to be "Bret girl". Witmer would be eliminated in the second episode[4] where she would exit the house through the wrong door. She would return for the reunion special and the bonus clip special episodes. In 2009, Witmer was a contestant on the second season of the VH1 celebreality competition show "I Love Money". She would be the first eliminated and only feature in one episode.[5][6] She was eliminated after losing an arm wrestling contest against "Flavor of Love season 1" star Leilene "Smiley" Ondrade. After being eliminated Witmer would go on a tirade towards the production crew claiming they should be ashamed of themselves for using the contestants for their own gain, claiming she was exploited and lied to. She also claimed that she was above the show and that she had done way more in her career than appear on VH1 shows, before exiting through the wrong door again.
