I propose to remove the "Others" section, since relation to the franchise and to each other is incidental and trivial, especially when the link redirects to a character's page that covers media outside Disney (like Jane, Esmeralda or Maid Marian). Being a female in a Disney film does not equal association to the franchise. If it is the case, then we need to add much more characters, such as Lady, Faline, Miss Bianca/Penny, Perdita/Anita, Lilo/Nani Pelekai, the Sprite from Fantasia 2000, etc. Thoughts? --LoЯd۞pεth03:41, 27 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, although one could make an argument for keeping Kida and Eilonwy as they are princesses but not Princesses. PowersT20:52, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
We can add Kida and Eilonwy into "Associated" and remove the rest. Maid Marian, Esmeralda, and Jane have little or nothing to do with each another and with the franchise. --LoЯd۞pεth04:25, 9 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Also, Pixar has its own list of female characters: Jessie, Boo, Princess Atta, Celia Mae, Sally Carrera, EVE, Collette Tatou, Bo Peep, Ellie, Helen Parr, Dory, Dot, Violet Parr and Princess Merida. We can create the "Disney-Pixar" section. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.1.169.238 (talk • contribs)
And we can also add Sally from Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas and Jessica Rabbit from Who Framed Roger Rabbit? into "Associated". They're the most sensual and attractive Disney girls ever. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.1.169.238 (talk) 23:59, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That link clearly says she will be added in October. She isn't there yet. That said, it's really not an important distinction. PowersT20:21, 2 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

They are not added until they are added officially. The editors have been using the franchise website as the litmus test. When Disney adds them there then we know "for sure" that they were added.--☾Loriendrew☽☏(talk)14:48, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not done for now: Technically, Elsa was the queen and not a princess. To add her would require consensus as it would be controversial on that basis. Anna is a princess and shouldn't be an issue to add once official. — {{U|Technical 13}}(t • e • c)02:43, 18 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Should there be a theme park section to this template to show the attractions based on these films (or the Disney Princess group in general)?(Oinkers42) (talk) 15:39, 2 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Overuse
Is there really a need to include all the movies and other projects that include any Disney Princess? It seems very overkill to me.★Trekker (talk) 09:18, 2 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
