Hello,

I've noticed you've added quite a few events to this article over the past few months, that I have eventually removed for not being notable enough to count as a natural 'disaster'. A bit of surface flooding on roads or some landslips does not count as a natural disaster, if it did then the list would be chockablock with every time NZ got heavy rain. For a weather event to count then it needs to have a significant and widespread effect on human lives or property.

Hi @Maple Doctor:, no worries. Now I understand that it will be best to only include significant disasters that have cause considerable damage or deaths. Hi @S201050066:. I have reviewed those edits that User:99.252.42.107 made for the August and September 2021 timeline articles. They added information about recoveries and the death toll which will be useful. However, the user has problems with grammar, punctuation and spelling. Instead of reverting their edits, it might be better just to rewrite them in grammatically correct sentences. I am a bit busy right now so this is something you could do on your own. Thanks. • Hi Tenryuu, sorry that the situation with 201050066 has deteriorated. Thanks for filing the report. I think that 201050066 means well in wanting to contribute the COVID-19 data on Ontario and Quebec. However, his behaviour and conduct breaches Wikipedia policy. User:201050066 did want me to mention that an anonymous User:99.252.42.107 has also been editing the Timeline entries on Ontario and Quebec as well as the Ontario and Quebec timeline pages. Thanks, it's sad that S201050066 has spurned efforts to help them become a better contributor to Wikipedia. If they are not willing to listen to feedback and advice, I agree that it is best that S201050066 not contribute. The Ontario and Quebec data could probably go on the provincial timeline pages rather than the global one. Could do that during my free time throughout the year. • Hi @Realitylink:, you're welcome. Have been working on it along with The Freedom and Rights Coalition article for the past few days. I felt that the material on Voices for Freedom and the TFRC in the COVID-19 anti-lockdown protests in New Zealand could be spun off into their own articles given the amount of media coverage of the groups. TFRC is now turning its attention to general opposition towards the Government. They are planning more protests in Auckland, Christchurch, and Wellington. Simon Thornley’s article could also include some material from Deek’s article. Will be good to keep and eye out for vandalism and biased editing on these articles. The edit added the sentence "In December 2020, she fellow IPAC member and National MP Simon O'Connor urged New Zealand to speak out against China's alleged "coercive diplomacy" and support Australia in the face of escalating diplomatic and trade tensions between Australia and China." To provide some context, the IPAC is an international parliamentary group consisting of mainly Western countries, Japan, and India that is critical of the Chinese Government. I'm not disputing the fact, I'm pointing out that "she fellow IPAC member" is nonsense. "She and fellow IPAC member and National MP Simon O'Connor", if that's what it was intended to say, is incorrect pronoun use, which is why it reads so strangely beyond just a typo.
