Natural disasters in New ZealandHello, I've noticed you've added quite a few events to this article over the past few months, that I have eventually removed for not being notable enough to count as a natural 'disaster'. A bit of surface flooding on roads or some landslips does not count as a natural disaster, if it did then the list would be chockablock with every time NZ got heavy rain. For a weather event to count then it needs to have a significant and widespread effect on human lives or property. Thank you, Maple Doctor (talk) 07:05, 5 February 2022 (UTC) Hi @Maple Doctor:, no worries. Now I understand that it will be best to only include significant disasters that have cause considerable damage or deaths. Won't include minor events that fizzled out or brought little damage. Thanks for the teaching moment. Will be more careful in the future. Cheers. Andykatib (talk) 07:39, 5 February 2022 (UTC) Conversion Practices Prohibition Legislation Bill marked pendingHey the Conversion Practices Prohibition Legislation Bill page still has pending in the infobox. Should it stay like that until RA or be changed now to current legislation? 101.98.135.42 (talk) 22:15, 15 February 2022 (UTC)
COVID-19 Timeline pagesHi Andykatib I hope you are doing okay but I just want to let you know that User 99.252.42.107 has been unnecessary changes to the COVID-19 Timeline Pages for the Months of August and September of 2021 and had to follow the policy and I had to revert his edits for both the months S201050066 talk:S201050066#top|talk]]) 4:16 pm Eastern Standard time March 6 2022. Hi @S201050066:. I have reviewed those edits that User:99.252.42.107 made for the August and September 2021 timeline articles. They added information about recoveries and the death toll which will be useful. However, the user has problems with grammar, punctuation and spelling. Instead of reverting their edits, it might be better just to rewrite them in grammatically correct sentences. I am a bit busy right now so this is something you could do on your own. Thanks. Andykatib (talk) 21:42, 6 March 2022 (UTC) Hi Andykatib I just want to let you know that User:99.252.42.107 added even more edits from Ontario, and Quebec, to the Monthly Timeline Of The Covid-19 Pandemic pages again would you please inform Tenryuu about this matter. S201050066 (talk) 30 April 2022 New message from S201050066Hi Andykatib thank you for letting me know and I am going to put the edits back with a diffrent refrence S201050066 (talk) 21:49, 6 March 2022 (UTC)

Mention in ANI threadHi Andykatib, I filed a report on S201050066 at the ANI, and I mentioned you there. —Tenryuu 🐲 ( 💬 • 📝 ) 20:20, 30 April 2022 (UTC)
Thanks, it's sad that S201050066 has spurned efforts to help them become a better contributor to Wikipedia. If they are not willing to listen to feedback and advice, I agree that it is best that S201050066 not contribute. The Ontario and Quebec data could probably go on the provincial timeline pages rather than the global one. Could do that during my free time throughout the year. Voices for Freedom articleHi there, this page looks good and sits nicely alongside the page for Claire Deeks. That is a tricky thing to do, so well done. Realitylink (talk) 09:54, 9 August 2022 (UTC)
Hi @Realitylink:, thanks so much. It will be good to incorporate material from the Claire Deeks article into the VFF article. Simon Thornley’s article could also include some material from Deek’s article. Will be good to keep and eye out for vandalism and biased editing on these articles. My understanding is that no Wikipedia article exists in isolation but interacts with other articles and sources. Andykatib (talk) 22:41, 9 August 2022 (UTC) Louisa WallThe edit added the sentence "In December 2020, she fellow IPAC member and National MP Simon O'Connor urged New Zealand to speak out against China's alleged "coercive diplomacy" and support Australia in the face of escalating diplomatic and trade tensions between Australia and China." That sentence doesn't make sense, and it's unclear what it's trying to say, so I removed it. The Drover's Wife (talk) 09:11, 22 August 2022 (UTC)
ArbCom 2022 Elections voter messageHello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add Death of Malachi SubeczHey, did you plan to write a page on the death of Malachi Subecz? I have been considering it for a little while, and just saw your section added to Oranga Tamariki. If you’ve got something in the works then I’ll happily let you take the lead, otherwise I’ll start soon and link you when something’s up. — HTGS (talk) 00:05, 2 December 2022 (UTC)

DYK for Ben BellOn 29 December 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Ben Bell, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Ben Bell was elected at the age of 23 as New Zealand's youngest-ever mayor during the 2022 local elections? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Ben Bell. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Ben Bell), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. -- RoySmith (talk) 00:02, 29 December 2022 (UTC)
