The fact was ... that Anatolii Brezvin helped establish a youth hockey championship in Ukraine, and sought to open 60 ice rinks? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Anatolii Brezvin. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Anatolii Brezvin), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. RoySmith (talk) 00:03, 26 November 2024 (UTC) Thanksi’ve only really been an active editor on wikipedia for a little over two weeks so i’m not sure if i’m doing this right, but here’s a wikicookie. it probably seems insignificant but i do appreciate you acknowledging my contributions when nominating Mike Hasenfratz for ITN. i have been working quite a bit on improving articles concerning MLB umpires, but the list of NHL on-ice officials has been daunting to me despite being a hockey fan first. working on Mike’s article has given me the confidence to work on de-stubbifying some NHL officials and your little bit of recognition really helped, so thank you. If you know of another recently created or updated article suitable for inclusion in ITN, please suggest it on the candidates page. I recently gave the new Everett Railroad 11 page a Did you know nomination, and after some options for a good hook were mulled, it needs someone to approve it. After you did a great job looking over the Texas and Pacific 610 nomination, would you like to look over this Everett 11 nomination, as well? Someone who likes train writing (talk) 01:05, 6 December 2024 (UTC) Thank you for fixing the article. I just wanted to note that the deletion process that was underway was BLPPROD, not PROD. So, as I said in my edit summary, you should not have removed the tag without adding a source, per WP:BLPPROD#Objecting. Now that you have added the sources as required, that's great! Cheers SunloungerFrog (talk) 14:22, 6 December 2024 (UTC) Why have you reversed accessibility improvementsWhy have you reversed some of the accessibility changes on 1974 British Commonwealth Games? Screen reader users will not know that a country is in bold—they need another way to access that information. Also, that is a list, not a data table. Please explain! Citation formattingLook, I'm a senior editor that deals mostly in finding and formatting citations. Your edits are wrong-headed in Milt Dunnell's article. Number one, the publisher field is used for various means of fact checking the source, as ownership and political slant changes over time when owners change, i.e., the publishers. Never elminate extra information in a citation, in case things break. A full citation means there are multiple ways to find the source, with many not online. Also, the fetish "white space" removal has to stop. I format citations vertically because a) it's allowed, b) it is a more human readable/editable format. Stop reformatting my citations.– Abebenjoe (talk) 05:51, 11 January 2025 (UTC) Hamilton Bulldogs move discussionGood afternoon. I notice you have commented in the previous move discussions proposing Hamilton Bulldogs be moved to Brantford Bulldogs; your comments were on the basis that the relocation was a temporary one, which it was believed to be at the time. However, now the Bulldogs have announced a 15-year lease agreement with the city of Brantford, officially making their relocation a permanent one. As such, another move discussion is underway based on this new information; this message is to invite you to participate once again, giving your feedback on what should be done now. Feel free to comment at your earliest leisure. Thank you. Tom Danson (talk) 18:47, 18 January 2025 (UTC) |
