The leek is one of the national emblems of Wales, worn along with the daffodil (in Welsh, the daffodil is known as "Peter's leek", Cenhinen Bedr) on St. David's Day. According to one legend, King Cadwaladr of Gwynedd ordered his soldiers to identify themselves by wearing the vegetable on their helmets in an ancient battle against the Saxons that took place in a leek field.^[1]

I think the contestant scoring in the S1 article should be made uniform. As in, red on the left and blue on the right. Uh, if you happen to have the time, that is. Do you think we could also have some way to show some episodes have women first, then men second, as most of the episodes in S1, like Heat 3 do that... (Just so talk page watchers know, this is about the Gladiators (2024 British TV series) series 1 article.

I do think this needs some agreement from other users. What you say about "red on the left and blue on the right" seems to fit in with the show's presentation on how scoring is displayed after each event.
