Users generally translate English documents into Indonesian using the help of Google Translate or Google Translate. But now, users can translate documents in Word without using Google Translate.

Microsoft Word has an option that allows users to translate documents directly from Word. Compiled from various sources, here are three ways to translate text from English to Indonesian in Word:

1. How to translate part of the text in Word

If the user wants to translate text or a specific part of the Word document, the user can take advantage of a feature that translates only selected words or blocks of text.

First, open a Word document.
Highlight with the cursor the word you want to translate.
Click the Reviews tab. User can select Language then click Translate option.
A new panel with text translation will open on the right side of the screen.
Finished.
At the bottom of the translation panel, users can see more details about the selected text. This includes the definition of the word and other information related to the word.

When you're done translating the text, click the X in the translation panel to close it and return to the original document.

2. How to translate entire text in Word

If the user wants to translate the entire Word document from Indonesian to English, the user can also use a special feature.

First, open a Word document.
Click the Reviews tab at the top.
Select Language options > Translate > Translate Document.
Word will display a new document with subtitles in it.
Users can save this document by clicking on the save icon as usual.

3. How to translate a Word document

This last way allows users to translate multiple Word documents from PDF.

First, prepare the PDF file that you want to translate.
Right-click on the file and select Open With, then click the Microsoft Word icon.
Word will prompt the user to change the file extension to .docx.
If the file has been saved and the article is open, click the Review tab at the top and select Translate.
Word will provide a choice whether the user wants to translate the entire document or specific documents.
After that, Word will also provide options to select the source language and target language. Word provides a source language auto-detect feature for this.
If the user has selected a language, click Translate and a translation will appear.

By using one of the methods above, users can translate Word documents from English to Indonesian easily without using help from Google Translate.
