James Anthony Bailey (4 Juli 1846 - 11 April 1906), dengan nama lahir James Anthony McGinnis, adalah seorang ringmaster sirkus Amerika Serikat.^[2]

Pada saat berumur 25 tahun, ia sudah menjadi manajer sirkus Cooper dan Bailey. Ia lalu bertemu dengan P.T. Barnum dan bersama-sama mereka mendirikan Sirkus Barnum dan Bailey pada tahun 1881.
